Unable to add new document when the file size exceeds 200 kilobytes

When trying to attach a document (Add New Document) through the PaperVision Enterprise client, and the file size is over 200 kb, the process seems to hang. Files less than 200 kb can be attached successfully.

When logging in to the PaperVision Enterprise client, windows, icons and text appear very large

When logging in to the PaperVision Enterprise web client, many of the windows, icons and text descriptions are very large, and some elements may not fit on the screen despite meeting the minimum screen resolution (1024x768). When checked on another workstation, everything looks normal.

Internet Explorer 9 window becomes disabled when using PaperVision Enterprise ActiveX controls

As of 6/14/2011 Microsoft released a critical update (KB2530548) for Internet Explorer 9 that addresses the issue stated below, and manually adding a registry key may no longer be required.

Also, PaperVision Enterprise version R75 no longer requires this registry change.

When a user attempts to use PaperVision Enterprise ActiveX controls, such as the document viewer, workflow viewer, and administrative controls, Internet Explorer 9 appears to lock up and can only be closed via Task Manager.

Why do Attachment data group sizes fluctuate?

When viewing the properties of Attachment data groups, their size may increase or decrease over time, and may also show a size as zero (0) megabytes.

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible

A user is receiving this error when attempting to configure the Microsoft SQL Server connection information during the PaperVision Enterprise configuration wizard.

Unable to Read File (file name). API has been invalidated or closed.

When user attempts to view documents from within the PaperVision viewer using thin client the error is displayed: Unable to Read File (name). API has been invalidated or closed.

Unable to insert pages when scanning using PaperVision.

When attempting to add a page to a current PaperVision document using Scan2PVE, the options to append or insert are not displayed.

Service Unavailable is displayed when attempting to view the PaperVision website.

When attempting to access the PaperVision login page, the following message is displayed: “Service Unavailable”.

This is generally only a problem in earlier versions of IIS on Windows Server 2003.

Records destruction ran successfully but did not decrease the storage utilization

A records destruction policy was successfully executed and the documents were removed from the project; however the data group size remains unchanged.

Migration job is executed and the output data group is significantly larger than the original data group

When executing a migration job for a data group, the migrated data group is significantly larger than the original data group.
