This error occurs because the system does not have enough memory to handle the current process. There are several possible causes of this error, including:

• Not enough physical memory (RAM) in the computer
• The document is being scanned at a very high resolution & color depth
• Too many documents are being imported at one time
• Other applications may be using the needed memory

To resolve this error, do the following:

1. Reboot the computer to free up memory that is being used by other applications
2. Temporarily disable other applications that are using a lot of memory
3. Scale down the resolution and color settings on the scanner
4. If you are importing large amounts of images, break the images into smaller chunks and then import the chunks one at a time until all data is successfully imported into the data group

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, the user may need to increase the amount of RAM in the workstation to provide the needed resources for PaperFlow.
