How to configure the PaperVision Enterprise local client to display browser menus


By default, the PaperVision Enterprise local client (Client installation option) hides the browser menus from being displayed. Some users may want to have access to the menus for features such as the Back button. This article explains how to display the browser menus on one instance of the PaperVision Enterprise local client.



The desktop shortcut is created with a URL that contains a special parameter telling the system to hide the browser menus from view. A simple workaround is to use a shortcut that does not have this parameter.

To accomplish this task, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click the PaperVision Enterprise desktop shortcut and select Properties
  2. In the URL, delete everything after Default.aspx (it should now display: http://localhost:8400/Default.aspx)
  3. Click OK
  4. Restart the PaperVision client with the newly modified shortcut and the standard browser menus should be present
