How to enable and enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in PaperVision Enterprise

Summary

Summary:

This article demonstrates how MFA can be enabled and enforced on an entity within PaperVision enterprise.

Description:

MFA is a security technology that requires a user to provide multiple methods of authentication to verify a user’s identity for a login. In PaperVision Enterprise, it can be used to further secure access to sensitive information and documents.

To enable MFA for any given PaperVision Enterprise entity, do the following:

  1. Log into the PaperVision Enterprise Administration console with administrator credentials.
  2. Expand the appropriate entity where you’d like to enable MFA, then expand General Security.
  3. Click Security Policy, then on the right-hand window, double-click Configure Security Policy
  4. Navigate to the Authentication tab at the top of the window, then click the Enable Multi-Factor Authentication checkbox under Multi-Factor Authentication.
  5. (Optional) To enforce this policy for all users on this entity, click the Require Multi-Factor Authentication checkbox under Multi-Factor Authentication.
