The Remove Lines and Repair option removes lines from an image based on the criteria specified in the Line Removal feature but it does not repair the lines. Instead, the Remove Lines and Repair option removes lines from an image and then attempts to repair any text and graphics that were overlapped by the removed lines.

To reconstruct the lines in an image use the Reconstruct Lines and Repair option. Reconstruct Lines and Repair will do the same thing as Remove Lines and Repair except that after the lines have been removed, and the text and graphics repaired, the lines are then reconstructed.
