Description

How do you determine what value to use for Minimum Page Size Detection when deleting blank pages automatically?

Summary

Determining the value to set can be done by scanning several sample blank pages into PaperFlow.

  1. Find the size of each blank page (in bytes) by right-clicking on its image in PaperFlow and selecting the Image Information option.
  2. The Minimum Page Size Detection value should be set slightly higher than the highest of the sample image byte-size values (i.e. if you have scanned three blank pages with image sizes of 1300, 1250, and 1500 respectively, you should set the Minimum Page Size Detection value to slightly over 1500 bytes, somewhere between 1600 and 1800 bytes, to ensure that all pages in this byte-size range are detected and removed when the process is run).
