Description

Receive Runtime error 20001: Requested token not available when starting PaperFlow.

Summary

This error message could be generated for one of the following reasons:

  1. Make certain the PaperFlow Dongle Key is attached to the parallel port on the back of the PC. This is the key that authorizes the PaperFlow software; without it PaperFlow will not function.
  2. If the dongle key is attached, try removing it and then tightly reseating it.
  3. If that does not work then it is possible the dongle key is no longer functioning. The best way to test this is to try a different dongle key on the same workstation to see if it works. If the other dongle key works, then this indicates that the new one is bad and you should contact technical support for a Dongle Key Replacement Form. If both keys fail to work on this station but work fine on another, then it indicates there is a problem with the parallel port on the workstation. You will need to make certain the BIOS of the workstation have the correct settings for the parallel port to work with the PaperFlow Dongle Key. It is recommended that you contact technical support for assistance with changing BIOS settings.
