Description

The Flows Instance Error Retention feature allows users to control how long Flow instances that enter an error state are kept before being automatically removed.

Summary

Flow instances may occasionally enter an error state when certain feature limits are reached. In the past, these instances required manual intervention to clear them or resubmit for processing.

The new Flows Instance Error Retention feature lets users define how long these errored instances should be retained before being automatically removed. While the default retention period is 14 days, it can be adjusted as needed.

During the retention window, any Flow instance that remains in an error state will be kept until it reaches the defined time limit, after which it is automatically removed. Removed instances continue to be traceable through the Flow Logs. Updates to this retention setting apply only to future error-state instances and do not affect those currently in an error state.

To access this setting:

  1. Log in to Sys.tm Web.
  2. Click on the User icon in the top right corner of the browser.
  3. Hover over My Organization, then select Properties.
  4. Expand Organization.
  5. Locate Flows Instance Error Retention.
  6. Adjust the value to your preferred retention period.
