The Microsoft Jet Engine database cannot open the file datagrp.mdb.

Description


Receive Error 3051: The Microsoft Jet Engine database cannot open the file datagrp.mdb. It is already opened exclusively by another user or you need permission to view its data.

Summary


This error message appears when the user logging into PaperFlow does not have Write access to the directory where the data group database resides.

In order for the user to open the data group, they must have Read/Write access to the location of the data group. PaperFlow checks to see if there is Read/Write access to a Data Group before it opens it up. If there is no Write Access, this message will be displayed. By giving the user write access to this directory, this issue should be resolved.
