Unable to locate server when trying to view Help.


Receiving an “Unable to locate server” or “The Page can not be displayed” error message when clicking the Help link on a page within PaperVision Enterprise Thin Client.


This is most likely caused because Parent Paths are disabled in IIS (Internet Information Services) on the server hosting the PaperVision Enterprise server. To correct this, right click on the web site and choose properties. On the Home Directory or Virtual Directory tab, click the “Configuration” button next to the Application Settings section. In the Application Configuration window that opens, select the Options tab. Put a check in the box next to “Enable Parent Paths”.

NOTE: In Windows 2003 Server this setting is disabled by default.
