Viewing a Document Grant displays a blank page, but no error message is displayed.


When a user attempts to view a document grant, a blank page is displayed, but no error message is displayed.

Users that have the document viewer plug-in installed can view documents correctly with no problems.


This scenario indicates that the Primary Web URL is not properly configured in the Admin Console for the PaperVision website. The most likely reason is that the PaperVision website was configured in IIS using a non-standard port, but the Primary Web URL setting doesn’t include the non-standard port number.

To correct this setting:

  1. Open the PaperVision Administration console.
  2. Login as a Global Admin.
  3. Expand Global Administration, click “System Settings”, and then double-click “Configure System Settings”.
  4. Click on the “Local” tab to display the “Local Settings”.
  5. In the “Primary Web Server URL” field enter the PaperVision website URL (including the non-standard port number) exactly as it will be entered into a web browser address bar. Ex: http://yourwebsiteurl:676/ (where 676 is the non-standard port number)
  6. Save the changes.
  7. View the document grant. The document should now display as expected.
