Description


Users may receive the following error when attempting to view images from the PaperVision Enterprise web client:

 

 

Summary


This error indicates a problem with the Web File Cache URL configured in PaperVision Enterprise.

To resolve this error, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the PaperVision Enterprise Admin Console.
  2. Expand Global Administration, select System Settings and open Configure System Settings.
  3. Select the Local tab and verify the “Web File Cache URL”. This URL should be similar to the URL used to access the login page. For example, if your login page is at http://servername:8080/papervision/, then the Web File Cache URL will likely be http://servername:8080/papervision/cachepv. Note: You may need to work with your webserver administrator to determine the correct URL.
  4. If you are using non-standard ports, enter the path to the web site with the port number in the Primary Web Server URL. For example, if your login page is at http://servername:8080/papervision/, then the Primary Web Server URL should be set to http://servername:8080.
  5. Restart Internet Explorer and you should now be able to log in and retrieve documents successfully.
