Error -28000 Access Denied


Error -28000 Access Denied when attempting to view an image via the thin client.


This error is caused by the cache settings in the administration console not being set correctly, or the Anonymous user account in IIS not having one or more of the following security permissions set:


  1. Full access to the <Program Files>Digitech Systems directory.
  2. Read and Execute access to the Enterprise web server directory where you selected to install PaperVision Enterprise.
  3. Full access to the PaperVision Enterprise cache directory (WebServerCache).
  4. Full access to the directory where PaperVision data will reside.
  5. Full access to any jukeboxes or any other directories where images (i.e. data groups/CD’s) reside.
