Error -28000: Your source IP address or Host name has changed.
When logged in to an entity you might get the following error when attempting to view or print documents: “Error -28000: Your source IP address or Host name has changed. This has been explicitly prohibited by your administrator”.
This error is caused by a Security Policy setting enabled to prevent a user's session from being intercepted.
To resolve the error, follow the steps below:
Login to your entity as a System Administrator.
Towards the top-right corner of the home page, there is a drop-down menu next to your user name. Click that drop-down, and then select the Administration
Expand the entity properties tree (if needed).
Expand the General Security tree (if needed).
Click on Security Policy and in the General tab in the right hand window uncheck “Require all session requests to originate from the same source” and then click the Save
