Description

When accessing the PaperVision Enterprise AJAX website, users are presented with a Help hyperlink and OK button with no other formatting or content displayed.

Summary

This is caused when the IIS web server is unable to properly read and format Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). To resolve this, the Static Content feature in Internet Information Services must be installed.

To resolve this, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into Windows as an administrator
  2. Enable Static Content in IIS Roles/Features
  3. Windows Server 2008
  1. Open Server Manager
  2. Expand RolesWeb Server
  3. Scroll to Role Services and select Add Role Services
  4. Place a check next to Static Content under Common HTTP Features and select Next and then Install

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Navigate to Windows Features under Programs and Features
  3. Expand Internet Information ServicesWorld Wide Web ServicesCommon HTTP Features
  4. Place a check next to Static Content and then select OK

Remove the PaperVision Enterprise web site in IIS Manager and run the configuration utility to re-create the site.
