Updating SPF Records to Allow Email Delivery from ImageSilo® and PaperVision®.commain image

Description

When using your own email domain to send messages through ImageSilo® or PapeVision®.com (such as workflow notifications), the messages are delivered using Digitech Systems’ SMTP relay servers. If your domain’s DNS SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record does not authorize these servers, recipient mail systems may mark the messages as spam or reject them entirely.

Summary

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is an attempt to control forged e-mail. To ensure that email messages sent from ImageSilo or PaperVision.com using your domain pass SPF authentication, your SPF record must include Digitech Systems’ SMTP relay IP address. If your SPF record is missing these entries, outgoing messages may fail authentication checks or be filtered as spam.

Reach out to the ImageSilo Admin Team so they can provide the list of most current IP addresses, so they can be added to your domain’s SPF record. Your provider will determine the correct way to include these entries based on your existing SPF configuration. Changes to the SPF may take up to 24 hours to propagate.

NOTE:
Additional information on setting up SPF to identify valid email sources can be found here: [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-office-365/email-authentication-spf-configure]
