Operators on User Account Control (UAC) enabled machines are having problems when trying to export documents from the viewer and/or PaperVision web site. They get Error: -2147216495 Description: Error Creating File Source: SaveImage.ImageXpr7.ImageXpress.1. This issue can occur on Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008.


Users are unable to email documents from PaperVision. This error is thrown after clicking the Email button: Error: 32002 Description: Unspecified Failure has occurred Source: SendMAPIEmail

While viewing an Adobe PDF or Microsoft Word document, the annotations button and menu option is disabled.

While upgrading to newer versions of PaperVision Enterprise, the Admin Console will be rolled up to most recent; however, the use of ‘Thick Clients’ may still be possible.

After configuring a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate to be used with the PaperVision website, users get the following error message when attempting to view a document: Error: WinInet.dll Returns: The handle that was passed to the API has been either invalidated or closed.

When attempting to log in to the PaperVision Enterprise (PVE) web client, the following error is returned after inputting login credentials: Error HTTP 403: 'This website requires you to log in'. This error generally occurs on a machine running Windows XP with Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.1 installed.


After moving a database, when the Global Administrator tries to add a license in PaperVision Enterprise (PVE) the following error is returned: Error -2147217900 cannot find stored procedures PVDM_SYS_LIC_INSERT. This error message may be returned after restoring an existing database from an older version of PVE on a server that has a newer version of PVE installed. This is due to any additional database tables that were added in the later version of PVE. For example, a database was moved from a server that had PVE version 11.02 installed to a server that has PVE version R70 installed.


User may receive the Error 1718. Filename was rejected by digital signature policy when attempting to install PaperVision Enterprise on a Windows 2003 Server machine.
